  1. What if i update the game on an updated 3DS and then i use the last patched ORAS cartridge on a not updated 3DS i only use to run this exploit? Will i be able to run PCedit?

Game updates are stored on the console's SD card. When inserted in your non-updated 3DS, it will say that your game needs an update. You cannot use both online and web injection at the same time (you need a 3DS below 9.5.0-23 for injections and an up-to-date 3DS for online).

  2. im taking about an exploit possible coming out for people who did not update their 3ds that allows them to go in eshop and get the game patch with out having to update the system im not saying this will happen but it may be possible im felling this because the regoin free boots games out of the browser and allows any 3ds game to be played could work by injecting code into the eshop to trick it into thinking its on lasted firmware

This will not happen because the game update itself patches the web exploit "In Game" (which means even if your browser allows the web exploit to work, no pokemon would be injected). There is no way to trick Nintendo servers into thinking your game is updated when it isn't without modifying the ROM.

  3. i thinmk the update was to make the game run more smother as when you send in a pokemon it drops fps and it also does that online 2 s0 in order for that to work they had to make the patch require you to update to play online

Nope, fps still decrease in battle on a 3DS(especially online+triple+3D, it's terrible). It doesn't decrease on my new3DS, but this is related to the better hardware. This update just patches the web exploit injection.

  4. Anyway, since it's only been 33 days since the 9.5.0-23 firmware was released, would it be a fairly save assumption that the 3DS XL units being sold in stores right now are still loaded with a firmware compatible with the Ram2sav trick?

Depends on when they were shipped. You can ask your game retailer on when he received the consoles if he's a nice guy. This exploit was patched through the march 2nd update (9.5.0-23) so consoles shipped before that should be ok, though it may not be a 100% chance if the console was shipped slightly before/after that date...

  5. Well, I do not use the GW myself and am not an expert or whatsoever but, for what I understood, GW uses a "fake" firmware which you can update/downgrade as you whish without changing the original firmware. That would mean you can update your fake firmware to play SSB but still be able to access and modify your saves (but not using the web exploit, it doesn't work on emuNAND).

Someone with more knowledge than me should confirm though^^

  6. On the root of my sd card I can't delete PCin or PCout and the codes don't seem to run and just sit on the sd card, anyone know what the problem is?

There is something you can slide on the edge of your SD card, next to an arrow and the words "lock". Try sliding it towards the base of the arrow and your SD card should unlock, allowing you to delete your files. If the codes don't work it's another problem: what firmware are you on ?

With the new patch being out, is the patch safe to use ... U know when you have used the PCedit

Nintendo won't brick your game because you injected mons, or at least no one reported it. Delete your .bin files etc from your SD card as you won't beneeding them anymore though.

  7. I tried following all of the directions, but the system won't crash. The black screen remains and continues to say LoadCode Loading. Can anyone help with this?

I have an older 3DS and a 2GB SD Card; I downloaded the Bin and Exk File onto the SD Card; I inserted it back into my 3DS; I launched Alpha Sapphire and made sure Box 1 Slot 1 was clear; I went to the internet without closing out Alpha Sapphire; and I cleared the History and Deleted Cookies and then went to the Load Code Address, but it still won't crash. The "Failed to load part of the page" does pop up, but it goes away and the black "LoadCode Loading" message remains on the lower screen without it crashing.

Can someone please help me with this?

What firmware are you on ? This works only between 9.0 and 9.5-22 updates (you can check yours in the 3DS parameters). Also, make sure you don't use the "code.bin" file that comes with box injection and that you renamed your pokemon file to "pokemon.ekx".

    hi,

i have a 3dsxl with 4.5.0-10u?I'm about to use SSB to update it to 9.2.0-10U.

will this web browser/qrcode exploit work with 9.2.0-10U?

Well, it is supposed to work between 9.0 and 9.5-22 updates so it should work but I've heard that for some people it didn't work after updating via SSB or S.T.E.A.M. I've no idea on how this is possible though.

  8. First, what console do you have ? It doesn't work on new3DSs or Korean 3DSs, regardless of your firmware.

Then, if you get a communication error, check your internet connection and try these links instead :

alternative links since the original webhost is currently down

    rsavout - http://bit.ly/1xx5Ywj

    rsavin - http://bit.ly/1IkwyJr

    pcout - http://bit.ly/1I2aqXv

    pcin - http://bit.ly/1Hi4ZQD

Lunarcookies mirrored the loadcode btw, so for whoever wants a more "permanent" thing, use http://lunarcookies.github.io/loadcode.html for code.bin or http://lunarcookies.github.io/loadcode.html#something.bin for custom bins

    Use those URLs:

    http://lunarcookies.github.io/loadcode.html#rsavout.bin (shorturl: j.mp/svout)

    http://lunarcookies.github.io/loadcode.html#rsavin.bin (shorturl: j.mp/svin6)

Finally, you can try wiping your browser cache and history and try again.

  9. It seems that the original servers went down, did you try those links instead ? :

  10. Pokemon X/Y and OR/AS have a new update released today.

Adjustments have been made to make for a more fun gaming experience.

Users should download the software update prior to using the following online features:

Connecting to the Internet using the Player Search System

    Using Wonder Trade

    Using Game Sync

Connecting to the Global Trade Station

    Redeeming a Mystery Gift

Is that me or the only thing this update does is patching the injection glitch somehow ?

  11. When i used the alternate pcout i get a "failed to load part of this page" then it quits out like normal and when i go to edit my boxes my pokemon appear as they were from the last time i used pcout so the pcout is not working

Alternative is given for rsavout/rsavin but you can replace #rsavout.bin with whatever you want (pcin/pcout.bin). I don't know what's the short URL though ( to be able to save both as favorites).

  12. oh so you cant like download it on a sd card and put it in because i have two 3ds' that are before the update and the other is updated and i really hate the waiting

No, you can't transfer updates using the SD card (that would be a huge security flaw^^).

Is shuffle shop synchronized between you 2 consoles ? If you buy diamonds on your old 3ds, does they appear on the new one ? You can do it for pokemon injection, as you put your cartridge on both consoles, but I don't know if it's possible with shuffleshop.
