  1. Two things real quick. One is that you should've posted this in the PKHeX thread, and secondly something that might work is one extracting it if you don't see a icon next to it and the other is changing it's compatibility mode.
  2. Can you describe the steps you're doing please. Also yes your version is compatible.
  3. PKHeX isn't the only software that is usable, just as long as you are saving the file correctly and the file has the valid code.
  4. The pokemon servers are likely not recognizing it as a real pokemon. A easy fix that has a fairly decent chance of working which is to trade it in a LAN and then trade it back.
  5. When you're in PKHex and hit save as are you sure you're saving it as a .EKX which should have the file name .EK6 before you change it?
  6. I would personally recommend trying this is may change something it may not. However there may br another fix for the current SD you have which you might want to try as well. I would tell you this fix now but I'm on my phone.
  7. What SD card do you have? Also if you've changed the SD card that originally came with the 3DS mention that to.
  8. It's likely a issue with the generated pokemon it's self because I personally got a Ninetails & Glaceon but when you put them in your party you get the same black screen if you hit the button to show your party or if you try and view the pokemon's summary. At the moment I've found a way to fix it but it's kinda inefficient, however the way I solved it was by trading the pokemon to my friend and then he traded it back to me and it worked. This was done on LAN however and it may take a different effect if you do it online.
  9. Ahhhh I myself used 9.4 and I originally heard that you could only use 9.2 & 9.4 .
  10. Your version is one of the two that will work. So as of now I'm not completely sure why it's not working for you.
  11. That would be correct you may be able to receive the egg but it will never hatch.
  12. I have two pieces of advice for you. One is that if you go into your 3DS and go into the settings and if at the top screen it doesn't say 9.0 or 9.4 then you are kinda screwed for now. The second piece of advice I have for you is to watch a video tutorial to make sure you're doing everything correctly I personally would recommend this video.
  13. Oh with that if I'm correct it doesn't work correctly if you choose to have it as a egg because the PKHeX program was not made for this exploit.
  14. Your problem is when you're in the PKHeX and you hit save you're saving it as something other then a .ek6 file that's called PKX that you later need to change to a .pkx .
  15. I looked at it and found the problem that is likely causing it. If you open up PKHeX the program the creates the pokemon and open up the pokemon.pkx file you want to click on the Tools then click Toggle Box Interface and you should get something to pop-up on the right that's green boxes with some other stuff you need to drag the picture of the pokemon in the middle top into any of those green boxes then save and replace the current file in the SD with the new one. Neither your code file and pokemon.pkx file should be right under both of those folders.
  16. The root folder, also called the root directory, of any partition is the "highest" folder in the hierarchy. The root directory contains all other folders in the drive, and can of course also contain files. For example, the root directory of the main partition on your computer is probably C: \ The root folder of your DVD or CD drive might be D: \.
  17. Just right click on the file on click rename then it should pop-up that the file may not work after you change it however it still will.
  18. You likely didn't put both the code and pokemon.ekx file in the root of the SD card, however it's more then likely something you might be doing wrong with the browser in the 3DS but there is a slight possibility that your 3DS is on the wrong firmware/version to.
