  1. New version 3.4 released: GUI update fixes. Nickname/experience auto-complete. (Experience changes to preserve level when you select a new species, and experience changes if the new Pokemon would have a different level).
  2. Might well me. Multi-language isn't supported, but I'll do what I can to investigate. Please could you attach the save files? Pokemon should never appear as Bad Eggs though - that's a glitch in the checksum routine. I'll try this myself and get back to you, cheers.
  3. Links in original post will download version 1.4 of the Legacy editor. Bug was the blank save file had all Fs for the byte containing the number of currently selected box. Now it uses 0 if the value exceeds 12. This bug wouldn't have affected normal save files. Thanks!
  4. 100% male means that regardless of PID the Pokemon is male, so there's no increase in chance of 0000 or whatever combination. The Pokemon could have any PID.
  5. See original post for major update. Item editing now supported!
  6. Are you using Windows, does it allow you to open a SAV file? You might need to update/download Java.
  7. The program is not called file.exe, where did you download that? The filenames of the versions I've released on MediaFire: Pokemon Editor Gen 1.exe Pokemon Editor Gen 2.exe Pokemon Editor Gen 3.exe Pokemon Editor Gen 1 to 3.exe Pokemon Editor Legacy.exe Pokemon Editor Gen 1 to 3.exe does everything the individual gen editors do. Pokemon Editor Legacy.exe is an older version to try if you have any problems with the new version.
  8. It's not intended to, but people have had Pokemon converted using it get through the transporter. pokemon edited on the same game they were caught will.
  9. Please see the new thread for full Windows and Mac OS X download links.

  14. Yes, I use a Mac and can run the JAR file on it. The full version (release sometime before 2015) will be released as Windows .EXE, Mac OS X .DMG as well as the Java .JAR executables, so you can run by double-click straight after Download.
  15. It probably won't, but worth giving it a go. Back up your save file first in case it corrupts it!
  16. This is brilliant research, thanks. Will be including this in the next version of my editor.

  18. For what you described you will need a DS Phat/Lite + flash card + GBA cartridge. First convert your Gen 1 Pokemon from the Gen 1 save to the Gen 3 save (both on your PC). Then dump the Gen 3 save with your converted Pokemon onto the GBA cartridge, then Pal Park them over to the Gen 4 NDS game. The editor doesn't directly support Gen 4 or above saves.
  19. No idea what's going on there. I'd save normally twice (to refresh the backup save) on both your emulator and real-life cartridge. Emulating Pal Park transfer is probably dodgy, better to hack the gen 4 direct.
  20. The easiest way is with the copy/paste buttons as this will auto-convert the pokemon. In the newest version, this is possible with two games loaded at once. Click Copy on the first Pokemon in Silver then open the emerald game and click Paste.
  21. Loaded your save in VBA and you have appear to have no boxed Pokemon in the game? When I go to the box editor I see an array of Empty. Clicking the New button will create a new Bulbasaur which you can edit to whatever you'd like but there aren't any Bulbasaurs there when I loaded it. Does that make sense, there doesn't appear to be anything wrong?
  22. What language is your game? Only English is supported. The file size should be right or you wouldn't get that far - is it .SAV? Maybe attach the SAV to the post so I can look into it?
  23. Please see the new thread for full Windows and Mac OS X download links.
  24. Here's the download link It should save straight as a JAR, which can be run if Java is installed on your computer. What file do you get with that link?
