  1. I've tried using the majority of the files that I believe are the animation files but no matter what I do, he is still animated.
  2. There are two sets of RCMNs, RAMNs and bins in MissingNo's files however no matter which set I use the EF is still animated.
  3. Ok, While this tells me a little more about how to edit sprite palettes, it doesn't tell me how to moves Pokemon Animation files into the Trainers Animation. From what I can tell, these files: [ATTACH=CONFIG]11470[/ATTACH] Are missingno's. And as I am still a newbie at this, I am unsure which files are the animation files.
  4. Hello everyone, it's been a while since I posted anything here as I... more or less gave up on making my hack, however I have decided to do a bit more on it. So I am replacing one of the elite four members with a character of my own, I have changed the Overworld and I have changed the MS however... I know that all the elite four members have a animated Front Sprite when the battle begins. Example: So I was wondering two things. 1. Can I make the EF Front Trainer sprite static? If so how? 2. If I can't make them static, would I still be able to swap their Front Sprite with my own? I'm sure I'm not the only one who is wondering about this so I get the feeling that if someone is able to answer this then it would be a big help not just to me but to others as well. Thanks in advance, Aaron.

  7. OK so it's been a while since I've posted on this, but I just wanted to know if there is any way to change the start menu sprite, I've been looking around in the narc listings but I can't find anything about it.
  8. When I was swapping the Nate and Hugh overworld sprites around for my hack I could not find a "singular" sprite of Nate. (I was sitting there for about an hour searching for Hugh's sprites, going through each individual image)
  9. Was bored this morning so I decided to have a look through the full narc list and I honestly could not find anything that caught my eye (to do with this thread). But it has to be somewhere surely D:
  10. When you finally open the right Narc, there isn't any sprites/images on the first 7 options.

  14. Attempted to do that but I don't think it will work, as it doesn't tell you the exact file names plus when it comes to the "stacked?" files, you can only move onto the next file. That was explained horribly ._.
  15. No this doesn't tell you how to change the eyes of the characters it just tells you how to edit the sprites.
  16. I know what I did, you have to switch the eyes and mouth files however when you try to reimport 2_61.RGCN or 2_53.RGCN, it says that they have too many unique colours, I haven't editted them I was just swapping the files.
  17. After browsing the forum for a while I could not find anything to do with the Xtransceiver Sprites. All I really need to do (once again) is swap Hugh's and Nate's sprites around. Is this possible or am I just being silly?

After sitting here for a little while and processing what Ruby said, (because I'm clearly stupid) I managed to get the MS Working, I just got a little confused that even though you replace the palette when you upload the image, it's the wrong palette. (When uploading the image it changes 7_73 but you need to change 7_72 as well or thats what I had to do anyway.)
  19. OK I played around with it a little bit more and made some progress, the rivals MS is now Nates and looks fine. The only problem I face now is, something has happened to the players MS, even though I had replaced the palette it came out like this: What the players MS is in the Narc: What have I done wrong? D:

For some reason when I swapped the MS, in game they didn't swap, they were just facing the other way (because I flipped the image), Nate's sprite for some reason got a different palette but hugh's seemed to be ok. Also it turns out when you flip the image in Adobe Fireworks it gives the file more Unique colours for some reason, whereas if you do it in paint this isn't the case.
  21. That doesn't seem to work, because I have to flip the MS of nate and hugh around so that they are not facing away from each other, tinke tells me that there are too many unique colours.
  22. Why is it when I replace nates MS with hughs MS, it comes out all fuzzy and corrupted. I went into adobe fireworks and (with the help of a palette) created the "correct" hugh mugshot as there doesn't seem to be a palette for him in BWME. Am I doing something wrong?
