  1. The person that posted v. 4.1 specifically states that the patch is only for Black 2 because they don't have a save file for White 2. Most of the translation team is very busy with their daily lives so there are few people that are currently translating. I think you're going have to wait a while for a White 2 patch unfortunately.
  2. It shouldn't be that small. Although v4.1 is trimmed, it should be closer to 300 MB instead of 200 MB. Are you patching a clean rom because you can't patch an already patched rom.
  3. Yeah, the Plasma grunts do give hints, but since the majority of the people here can't read Japanese, the password is becoming a problem. But I noticed that too. When the password is a number, the plasma grunts will ALWAYS say the non-zero numbers multiple times (inside brackets) so this gives it away if it's a xx0x password. I'm playing through the game again, and find that a lot of dialogue (especially in Castelia City) is translated even though it isn't specifically stated in the changelog.
  4. I already posted this on an earlier page and notified the Project Pokemon team about it.
  5. The descriptions for the Unova pokemon in the pokedex are in the wrong order. The correct description for the pokemon is shown for the pokemon preceding it. For example, Samurott's description is shown in dewott's description box and dewott's in oshawott's.
  6. There's kind of a problem on the pokedex. I only checked the Oshawott line so far, but the descriptions seem to be one pokemon off. For example, Oshawott's description is showing dewott's, Dewott's is showing Samurott's, and samurott's is showing patrat's. Edit: It's only the Unova pokemon. All the rest are OK.
  7. It's not hard if you know the passwords, but I see your point in it being difficult.
  8. IS patching a rom on a mac, different from doing it on a PC? If it is, then, I don't know, I have a PC.
  9. Yes, you have to patch a clean rom though. You also have to rename the new rom to the same name as your old save file.
  10. The passwords are either xx0x (replace the x's with a single number from 1 through 9, for example, 9909), ze-ku-ro-mu (type this in the translator without the hyphens which is the fourth option on the bottom, or re-shi-ra-mu. If it is a number password, when you talk to some of the plasma grunts near the password machine, they should have a number highlighted in brackets. That's the number you need to replace the x's with.
  11. Where exactly in the game are you? It's hard to tell from your description. Did you complete the events with Team Plasma inside their frigate yet?
  12. As Phoenix already stated, give the translation team some time. Translating options is MUCH easier than translating the main story. They said it will be out in several days which does not mean exactly 3 days (I have no idea where everyone gets this idea from). If it's not out today, then, probably some time this next week. Also, I don't think anyone knows exactly what is going to be translated in v4, but since it's taking a longer period of time, probably more of the story. Hope I answered your questions.
  13. I don't know why the pokemon are still in Japanese (they're all in English for me, maybe try patching again?), but the patch specifically states that only the main story dialogue up through Route 19 is translated. Sangi Town is directly after route 19 so that's probably why it's still in Japanese.
  14. oh ok, I used ze-ku-ro-mu (without the hyphens) and it worked AFTER changing the language back to katakana. I tried the number, zekrom and reshiram passwords multiple times still in hirigana (English), and none of them ever worked, but I tried the zekrom password right after changing the language and the game recognized it.
  15. Uh...I already saved over it since I was at that part yesterday. Sorry. What do you mean by using zekrom or reshiram?
  16. I spent over 30 minutes trying to figure this out yesterday, lol. So what worked for me was changing from hirigana back to katakana. You do this by going to the options and go down to the english option (yes or no). Select no and confirm these changes. Now try entering the passwords and they should work fine. The game will now recognize the Japanese ones so if your rom happens to have a Japanese password, then, it should work...I hope.
