I'm throwing together a Python script that picks out Pokémon data from packets and saves it as a .bin, would anyone be interested in using it? It'll also display some basic information about a .pkx file, similar to this format:

It's by no means an editor, meant just to view info.

I would be willing to use it if you can also make it save a log file if possible and it checks for pokemon data constantly rather then just one at a time (if it doesn't already do that) but im sure it will be very helpful as well if it automatically dumps .pkx files that it finds.

does this mean its impossible for an exploit through wonder trade?

And where should i download this? Mozzilla? Opera? Anything that doesn't block PKX Editor?

well i cant see how this editor will be useful for us JUST yet but... i can see from your screenshot, theres a dropdown arrow on the file click it and and click on "keep"

Well we could just modify some PKX files (the species ID specifically) and send them back to the game and see what happens. If there are any additional Pokémon to be discovered, this seems like a way to get it done.

For that matter the same thing applies to items / Mega Stones, etc.

there also might be a risk in that too, if its an invalid species ID the save "may" become corrupt like Nintendo has hinted at us.

awesome, im pretty surprised this actually happend so fast, i wasn't expecting anything for at least a month or 2... well this is the first big step to the gen 6 hacking

I'm just curious, but would it be possible to be able to hack Pokemon Dream Radars Save file thats located in the SD card, "00000001.sav" i been messing around with Hex editor (I am quite skilled at using.) comparing 2 save files data but have had no luck transfering any data between them, what im trying to figure out is if its possible to edit dream orbs, the number of clouds u have or what pokemon you have captured, like i currently have just 3 gen IV pokemon games, i would also like to attempt to inject pokemon data into tricking the game to thinking you have had all gen iv games inserted and able to catch all the legends from there, i do understand each dream radar save file is locked to the user, so its not like you can download someone elses saved data, but it would be interesting if there is currently any method to changing things within the save without it becoming corrupted.

I used the Giratina,,Cresselia and the two lake Pokemon codes. Aside from the Crasher thing and Heatran's room,they work ok. But Cresselia and Mesprit have another drawback... uploading to Pokecheck for legitimacy analysis shows a hacked PID. Can the codes be tweaked to fix that? And I don't think it's the shiny code I'm using because although it can show a hacked result from time to time, it worked ok on the stationary mons.

The only reason for getting a hacked PID is if you have used other codes that forces PID/IV/Shinyness.

Activate the code save and reset without any codes there is no way this code will be the reason for making your pokemon been hacked cuz all it does is repeat the event.
