Hey, guys! Quick question, since I'm not sure how this stuff works... So I've been planning to use the Partner Cap Pikachu (Ash's from the movie event) on my in-game team. I was excited about the Surfing Pikachu we get, but unfortunately it's just a single Pikachu, and not a Move Tutor or anything. Anyway, I was wondering if I gave my Cap Pikachu the move Surf with PKHex, and didn't use it online or anything, just in-game, would my game react to it at all or cause anything weird to happen? lol I've never tried anything like that with PKHex so I figured I'd ask around. I'm sad we can't just give Surf to other Pikachu. xD Thanks!!

Oh ok, awesome! I know some old editors and Powersaves had the issue of making it so that you weren't the OT anymore. Good to know that's not the case here! Thanks!

Hey, guys! Quick question! I was wondering if I was to make a Pokemon in my game Shiny, and not change anything about its Trainer info, will the game treat it as a traded Pokemon, or will it still be seen as one I caught/hatched/whatever? Thanks!

I have an issue, guys! Can anyone help? Ok, so I've been trying to backup by Black 2 sav using the FTP Mode on the smallftpd program. I follow the guide completely for WiFi Mode, but it never finds the server when I try to backup the game. I have successfully backed up and restored my SoulSilver before, though I'm pretty certain it was a different program... Anyway, I have an M3DS Real and an EZFlash V (not a 3-in-1). Anything I can do here, even with another method? Or am I missing something? Thanks in advance! I appreciate it!

I'm not sure if this tool works yet for Pokemon Black 2 or White 2 (trying now) but I'm getting a similar problem. I have used this tool successfully before to backup and restore my save file on my SoulSilver (can't remember how) and am using the same settings as before. I start the restore process up, and it hangs at "Connecting to ftp server" or whatever, then after a while tells me the server is missing. I have the WiFi set up for Auto-detect the IP, if that matters. As far as I know, I never changed the settings from last time.

Thank you~! I backed up my Black and SoulSilver Versions as a test, and it worked beautifully! Overall, the tool worked wonderfully with my M3DS Real! Well... It worked nicely, I should say. Backing up went off without a hitch and worked on an emulator, then I transferred SS Pokemon to Black. I then went to restore the save to my SS game (so as to retrieve my main team, I'd never switch their game permanently), and it scared me a little. It took 3 tries to get it to work correctly... First time, after inserting the game it just went back to the menu of the tool (not usable though). Try #2 said it was writing the game, then finished but it didn't really do anything... >> Finally, the third try actually gave me the reading and writing progress bars, and that one worked wonderfully~! Anyway, thank you for a VERY useful tool~!
