  1. I really love PMD1, but its biggest flaw to me was the lack of portraits for many of the starters' evolved forms. I would like to add a few of them into the rom just for the sake of it, by using PMD2's face portraits (as, so far as I can tell, they are the same size and still have the 16 color limit) but the problem is that I am not precisely sure how to get started. I've delved into the rom before, and found that EVERY Pokemon has a "starter level up" quote in the data, even though it's stuff like partner_level_133 or whatever, and it was likely input as a failsafe. Seeing as how this sort of thing exists, I'm wondering if a similar system is present with the face portraits. As in, there's an actual table to portraits listed somewhere, with likely a byte to tell the game to not try loading for certain Pokemon. If this is true, it would be possible to edit the table, insert a new portrait into clear space and point the game to the image. However, I actually cannot seem to find any sort of hacking notes on PMD1. If anyone could help me by pointing me in the right direction. (Either to hacking notes, or directly telling me if this is or is not possible, and if it is, where to look.)
  2. Because I'm either crazy, stupid or really brave. Part 1: I choose you! Pichu! After the first video I taught Pichu Seismic Toss to help out with the first gym. Part 2: Ohai Dad Part 3: The Beach Wish me luck everyone.
  3. Yeah, to an extent. I don't use the cheap codes like infinite money and stuff. Only the wild Pokemon modifiers, nature modifiers, etc. You have no idea how much the game prefers to troll me when I need a female timid Eevee with decent stats. >_> Drives me insane. I've been a fan since Pokemon Yellow was released. I own at least two games in each generation, plus a wide selection of off-base Pokemon games like Mystery Dungeon and the stadium games. *sees Master Ball* D: *runs* Yes, it's one of my favorite grass types and eeveelutions. I'm mostly an electric-type fan though.
  4. This reminds me of the Pacifidlog town foreshadowing in Silver version. Corsola's pokedex hints to Hoenn. "In a south sea nation, the people live in communities that are built on groups of these Pokémon"
  5. I don't know if there are any Homebrew users here but I'm going to post this in hopes of somebody being able to help me. I was playing Mario Kart Wii and tried to load up the Delfino Harbor battle stage, and the console started making these weird beeps and sounds, then it told me "An error has occurred. Please eject the disc and turn off the console." But I couldn't turn it off because it had apparently frozen at that point, so I had to unplug it. Now it won't load any games at all! I searched it on google and have done most self-troubleshooting methods. I've used canned air to blow into the CD hole, cleaned the disc, used a different disc, unplugged it for thirty minutes, put the wii in a different position...no luck. It doesn't seem to be the lens since it won't even spin the disc, and it's not the laser since it doesn't make that flinch-inducing crack sound. (That I saw in a video) I was thinking of sending it to Nintendo but I'm a bit worried since I have Homebrew. If I deleted homebrew, would Nintendo know I had it at one point?
  6. Hello everyone! Electric Pokemon fan and veteran Pokemon player here. I joined after finding out that this place has Pokemon codes, which I kinda need to keep my sanity in check. Anyway, hi.
