  1. Started from the beginning.

Cheren in the lab after getting Bel:

"It's all thanks to you that I could become

a Pokémon like I always dream."

    Could translate to:

"It's all thanks to you that I can become

a Pokémon like I always dream."

Because the word "become" is a bit to close to the end of the text box.

Bel's dad says something about her being "naive" after I go to get her. The "i" in "naive" seems off, as it looks like it has two "periods" instead of one. You'll have to play that part to get what I mean.

    More as they come.

I think they're missing the word "trainer" in there as well. Cause...I don't think Cheren wanted to be a Pokemon for Halloween. xD!

  2. I got an error when registering to the Pokémon Global Link.

This one is online, but I'd like to know if there's a solution for this...

It's when registering an ID to the site.

I looked carefully, and it doesn't say my code is wrong...

By "Online" I mean it's on the Pokémon GL site.

    Edit: I know it's off-topic but still... :P

You have to have your pokemon ready to be sent and already asleep, trying to connect through the game sync. While that is happening, continue to try and register the ID into the site. I did it that way and it worked. I had the same trouble as you did before, too.

  3. Why does No$GBA require 2 different AR codes to work. One for a Blue screen and a save fix.

While Desmume requires none and has known better compatibility with more games.

Desmume can run on lower grade computers if you setup the settings right, same with No$GBA

No$Gba works on newer games by using AR to bypass areas it fails to work for.

Yes, but it stills works on it whether or not you need to bypass it. Same can be said for flashcarts. No$ still has greater reliability, speed and usage. Life or death situation: I'd rather take No$ and die happily. ;P It's quality in a package worth the money, for those who got it legit. Not saying it doesn't have its flaws, of course. But still. And I have tried every run setting I could think of to get Desmume to run on a lower grade, it wouldn't even run the first made DS games at a decent speed while No$ would run it at full on the same computer. No$ is just...better all around. ;D

  4. It's been stated many times. Please don't use no$gba as it's out of date and has issues with many of the newer games (and almost always this translation) I found DSume to work every time for me flawlessly, but feel free to try others.

Edit, sorry if that sounded rude, I need to choose words more carefully in the future.

As off-topic as this is, I feel the need to reply to it.

First off, don't disrespect the greatest DS emulator ever birthed into the emulation world. Desemume may be "good" but its no where near better than No$gba in any way. No$ is known to work on even low grade computers, with most games working on it one way or another with nearly full speed or more. It has more achievements in its time and in it's current state than the other emulators have. Outdated? I'm sorry, but you are the one who's brain is outdated.

On-Topic: Great work so far with the translations. Hoping to finally download the patch before Christmas with a full game to explore in Engrish. xD!

P.S. Burn Status intended, but Purgatory has a tendency to miss.

  5. oh men i cant wait till the next version will be released!! hooh! i'm badly excited for the full english story line :)

    ,,

    haha and oh!

i'ts kinda funny inside the first house of karakusa town, the people there are talking about project pokemon and the person soneek and ruinairas ! haha

    i'm impressed so much !

They ought to be. After all, it's them who are making this translated. Give credit where credit is deserved, especially when the people are saying random crap that's entirely useless, so replacing it sounds like a great idea. xD

  6. Well I tried using an electric move with a wild Pokemon on it's pre-evolution and it said it was not very effective and I had it use the same on me and it was not very effective so im not sure why when I battled that pokemon ranger in the Sekka Wetlands that it said Super Effective and did a big chunk of damage.

Then it just might be a glitch from the patching. Unless you are using AR/CB codes to edit the game. Then that could be clashing with the patch job and whatever else you are using combined. Who knows, at this point.

  7. I really don't know if it was a glitch or what. Oh and this is with the V1 patch the one right after the beta release since I wanted to wait for everything to get done and I don't know if that maybe triggered it.

That is most certainly a noteworthy glitch. xD If it was Maggyo who got hit, I'd be worried even more since ground is never effected by electric. xD Still, lovely glitch to add to the Important Fixes list.

  8. This is weird but I was Playing Pokemon White and I was in the Sekka Wetlands and I battled a trainer who had a Maggyo. Well I had a Denchura out and the strange thing is it used Discharge on my Denchura yet my Denchura is Bug/Electric yet it not only was supereffective against me but it did a bit more then half damage O.o

I highly doubt it was super effective, probably just a misprinted translation or something. As for the damage, depending on the level difference, I believe the damage was alright.

  9. Chill d00d! They're nearly done on the PokeDex entries! As for the story, there is always walkthroughs to use.

Off topic here, I just watched the very first episode of Pokemon again, and noticed someone used a green Pokeball. It looked like a regular Pokeball, only green. Anyone know what happened to these in the games?

I believe its one of these: The Prototype idea of the Great Ball/Ultra Ball, a Nest Ball, Friend Ball, Safari Ball.

No clue if its even any of those. We may never know, just like when Ash saw Ho-oh on the first episode. It looked like the Shiny version but we'll never know. xD
