    im currently working on 0000/0396 in the story, i should be finished around friday or saturday. its me and my two friends with a combined experience of 9 years of japanese class and 30 years of anime with and without subtitles and a letter of recommendation from Shin MacPhearson, the guy who works down the street at the mini mart, and you must admit, with those credentials having it ready by saturday just shows how epic we are

    everyone keeps talking to the lady in the first town that changes your language to the kanji and it throws them completely off lol

    you dont even have to make a copy, the patcher automatically makes a new rom with 'patched' on the end of it in the same folder leaving the old one still japanese, dont it?

    if you talked to the lady there she asks you if you want to put the game in kanji, you probably picked yes, just go back to the system settings and change the fifth setting back to english

    you get the with-exp patch if you have problems gaining exp with the other patch

    oh and i noticed when im in a battle and they use bite against me, it will say "scared and will not listen" isnt that supposed to be flinched or something??

    lol i dont know why i put i in there instead of you but anyways i just finished translating 0192 in the story, pretty epic stuff, im beat... 0192.txt

    i finally decided to stop being lazy and actually look at the files and it look like i can handle translating some of the story, but i dont get how im supposed to do it so \xf000븁\x0000 means it stops there and goes to the next line? and if i have to change the context a little how will i know where to put that line break? or do i just translate it and you guys handle the line breaks?

    hey everybody ive been lurking on this thread and registered just to add my two cents and thank you for this awesome project you got going on, this is the first time since blue/red that ive been excited to play pokemon lol. but yea just saying im part of the support crew so if anyone here needs anything non-japanesetranslation related just let me know
