  1. Why are you soo against a Dutch translation? ;p if somebody wants to do it then let them? They're probably translating from English -> Dutch, so it's not like they could've helped with the Japanese -> English one. (Correct me if I'm wrong though. It would be more helpful if you know Japanese to help translate the English version). And even though the story may not be too special, I'd still like to read that instead of random characters I don't understand, which brings me to my next question: After v1 is out, will you translate the story as well? Because I'd personally would like that very much. But I understand that it's a lot of work, so.. yeah.
  2. We're going pretty off topic right now so this'll be the last reply regarding that stuff ; I'm 100% Dutch but I do have a knack for English, don't know why ;. My boyfriend is half American/half Dutch and my English is even better than his. I think Cartoon Network and games helped develop my English when I was younger. It's such a waste that everything's being dubbed in Dutch. Sorry for the off-topicness, I'll shut up until I've got something meaningful to say ;
  3. You'd be surprised how many Dutch people are absolutely terrible at English. Not to mention that young children (like my nephews, age 7 and 8) don't understand English at all. Even though they did play FR/LG and D/P in English. It's not so much a necessity as just convient. (I remember learning some English from Pokémon Red as a 5 year-old though ) I'd offer to help you translate the Dutch version, but I am waaay too busy. Good luck though! (And I'd offer to help translate Japanese to English, but apart from above reason, I don't understand Japanese at all, sadly). Anyways, just posted to say thank you to all the hardworking translators and I'm keeping my eye on this thread
