Probably just a problem on my part but I don't think I did anything wrong in following directions Also yeah the archive is corrupted again

With the black patch, the game goes to a black screen and freezes in Desmume when attempting to do anything at all like turn off C-gear or enter a building Hopefully with the white patch I'll have better luck EDIT: It was just a corrupt file or something along those lines, my bad Patch works fine with a bit of fiddling with file names for some reason

What you (and others) need to do is not download the text file directly but just copy paste the text file from the github page and save as a unicode document to preserve what you wrote I think

What I need to know is if a space is required between the \000f type things and latin alphabet words Japanese words, of course, don't but I wonder if the game would get confused if you didn't put a space there / do something like put a colon there

I just shifted around those \xffe things so that correct grammar could be used, my assumption is that they just refer to certain game variables (such as your current top pokemon / trainer name, etc) Even thought the forum screwed up the format a bit, the variables have no effect on grammar
