If PokeMod won't leave traces, can currently existing traces from Pokesav be removed by saving again in PokeMod?
-
I thought the box trick didn't work this generation?
It doesn't work with battling EVs, but it does work with Vitamins.
-
That's not what I want, I want to be able to directly edit the save file but leave no trace.
-
Is there any way to fix these traces? I'm directly editing my save, not using ARDS codes.
-
I think I read somewhere about ARDS or Pokesav being able to leave a "trace" on a [.sav] file, showing that the save was "tampered" with.
Is this true?

I'm assuming the WWXX YYZZ is in hexadecimal.
What does the operator % do? I think it's modulus, but I can't remember.

The baby will have all the correct trash bytes and legal stats.
As long as it doesn't have illegal move combinations, it's 100% legal.

What format is your save file in?

Will Pokemod be able to create legal PKMs of GBA Event Pokemon?
Since there is only one copy on the DB.

"Supports ABCD, ABDE, ABCE, ABCF, ABDF, ABEF, BACD, BACE, BADE, BACF, BADF, BAEF psuedo-random PV-IV relationships."
Just wondering, what's this? Does it have to do with GBA Event Pokemon?

The baby is not legit, as it was technically created using hacked data (the parents' data).
As long as it has no illegal egg move combinations, it's legal, but not legit.
(Note: An example of an illegal egg move combination is Marill with Aqua Jet and Belly Drum. Both are Marill's egg moves, but no parent can learn both of them, so both moves together would be illegal.)

Important issue with DSPokeEdit:
It always reads your backup save file, not your current one.
To edit properly in DSPokeEdit, make sure you save twice in-game first.
Example:
If you save your game twice, then edit your file in Pokesav, then edit it in DSPokeEdit, DSPokeEdit will read your save file from before you edited in Pokesav.
If you save your game once, catch a Pokemon, then save again, then edit it in DSPokeEdit, it will read the file from before you caught the Pokemon, therefore deleting it.

Yes.
Also, for the maximum chance, never slather the same tree twice in a row.
If you do the same tree twice in a row, the chance for a Munchlax on that tree drops to 0.1%.
If you encounter one Munchlax, and want another one, make sure you slather it again immediately after the battle. The chance of encountering a Munchlax right after a previous Munchlax is 90.1%.
(This 90.1% chance cannot be SRed. If you are unlucky and get that 9.9% of not being a Munchlax, you are stuck trying for that 1% chance again.)
Pokesav - What number of Ev's and Iv's should i give a pokemon to make it look legit and for it to still be good in battling? - But now to strong or it will look hacked.

As long as it is hatched from an egg, it can have all 31 IVs and any legal combination of EVs and it will still be 100% legal.
A legal combination of EVs is: No more than 255 in one stat, and no more than 510 in all six stats put together.
Most people tend to automatically think of all 31 IVs as hacked, which is not true. If you want to avoid this, try making three or four important stats at 31 IVs and put random numbers in the other two or three.
