  1. Amazing, thanks so much! I’m getting a 3DS to do this and look forward to getting these events in my modern games.
  2. Hi everyone, it’s been years since my Pokemon days and things have changed a whole lot! I used to trade event files and have predominantly gen 4 .pkm files, as well as a bunch of gen 5. I assume my gen 3 .gpk files are trapped forever. I’d really like to get my favourite files into Pokemon HOME so I can access them in Gen 9 on my Switch. I’m wondering what the best way to do this is? I’d rather not mod the Switch, but I’m willing to buy a 3DS (or 2DS, or XL, whatever’s recommended) to do the transfer. In an ideal world I’d use PKHEX to convert but I’m not sure I can do .pkm all the way up to .pk9 and I don’t imagine I can load .pk9 files onto a cartridge version of Scarlet or without modding the Switch. This is what I was planning: 1. Use PKHEX to convert my .pkm files from gen 4/5 to gen 6. 2. Get a modded 3DS and ROM and save for Pokemon X. Load the gen 6 files onto that. 3. Use hshop to download Pokemon Bank and use that to get the files off Pokemon Sun. 4. Use Pokemon HOME to get Pokemon from Pokemon Bank. Rinse and repeat. The part I’m most worried about is using Pokemon Bank with a ROM version of Pokemon X/Y, is this possible? My worry is that I’d need a physical Pokemon X cartridge in the 3DS for Pokemon Bank to recognise it, which would mean I can’t load .pk6 files into a .sav for X, which would be a really simple process. I saw perhaps the only way for Bank to work with ROMS on an SD card would be to use gen 5 and the Poketransporter. Is there any truth to that? Also, is there a “most recommended” console for reliability of the transfer process? Or are 2DS/3DS/XL all similar, or even are the “new” versions more/less reliable? I’d really appreciate any advice I can get on this. I’m happy to pay for consoles for anything that is known to work. The main objective is getting my gen 4 events onto Pokemon HOME so I can access from the Gen 9 games and Gen 10 in the future. Thank you in advance for any help! Edit: I have around 30k event pkm so am looking for the quickest conversion route to get into Bank or HOME. Would like to use PKHEX for as much of the conversion as possible. I assume Poketransfer would be time consuming as I intend to add ~3000 Pokemon into HOME. Edit2: seems like a downloaded version of X must work with Pokemon Bank so I don’t understand why a ROM version on a modded 3DS wouldn’t. Should I try this?
  3. There will never be the 'proof' you're looking for unfortunately.
  4. Bond really knows his stuff here. Basically though whether they could or couldn't be shiny isn't even the issue here for you from what I've read. No one's ever appeared with a credible legal one and effectively they don't exist, so just don't trade for them as 100% of the time you'll be getting a hack. If someone had to give an official verdict on whether there are any legit shiny versions of these events in existence, the only sensible response would be that there aren't. Wouldn't be all that surprised if CHANNEL can be shiny though based on pure speculation. I suppose theoretically someone might spend hours and hours repeating the game to get Jirachis until they get a shiny one, IF it's possible, but I doubt that's ever going to happen. I really don't believe any of the stories about shiny 10 ANIV though, but I think Bond makes an excellent point as to why theoretically it should be possible.
  5. Hmm, the reason it says for platinum is slightly odd, what program's telling you this? Can you just list the hidden hex of any pokemon, and what pokeball each is in particularly, you can generally use that to check what game it was pal parked to.
  6. Yeah they will be very hard to find, but I'm sure you guys will get them eventually. Good luck in your searches, I only have pkms of them and they're NFT by request so sorry I can't help you there.
  7. lol Nigoli that's a lot of Porygons! Cheers dude.
  8. Just managed to get this working, I'd given up with the sgm file because I just couldn't work out how to use it, but the sav worked (thanks Pingouin7). This is a really sweet upload GU! It just makes me more confused how PCNYa/b/c/d OTs were set though, does anyone know? I guess it may be different on GBC compared to GBA, I noticed that some Celebi IDs went past 01000 so it probably is.
  9. Yeah there was the 09180 Raikou, followed by 10300 Entei, then Raikou/Entei/Suicune were all included in the 12160 distribution. So there were two raikou and entei but only one suicune. I'll try sending you the screen now.
  10. Guested I do not believe there were any weekends missing from the Shin Se Gae Manaphy distribution, the dates I have for it include March 26th/27th, and April 2nd/3rd also. Where did you hear that those were the dates from? Also, there are two Korean raikous - 09180 and 12160. Currently you are still missing 12160 from your collection so you may want to update the list. Edit: Yeah I was right about the manaphy dates, I just got sent a shot of the website, unfortunately the link is now dead so I can't link it. But if you need proof I'll find a way to send the picture in PM or something.
  11. That code looks good to me, not too much longer than it needs to be. Good luck with this Neurophage.
  12. Kaphotics thank you so much for doing this. I'm going to find it very useful!
  13. I have the .pkm files of most of the latest korean events if you need them but unfortunately not the wondercards. I'm just missing the latest manaphy and a the 12160 raikou/entei, but I have all the others. Would you like them? By the way, I've not been able to get proof of the faraway island mew having shiny prevention from the legitimate event. All I know is that this information comes from Yamipoli so I assume there's some ground behind it, perhaps someone here can look into it.
  14. I have to admit I don't see where the shiny prevention stuff could be written into the Old Sea Map event, but I'll try and find out some more rather than just leave you guys in the dark on why i thought this.
  15. @Clear - if you just want ageto celebis for gen 4 as .pkm files, here's a set. They should all be good. Ageto Celebi.zip
