  1. cool! i thought this update thing would take ages (just assumed it was the hardest bit)

and yeah don't worry, i was just asking if it would be possible, this is more than enough!

    this is very very useful!

  2. i asked, since i'm not sure if this program (pokesavds) is loaded into ram or something, or if it has to keep on reading itself from the micro sd, since if it had to keep reading itself, then we couldn't do the cart thing.

  3. sweet this is awesome! oooh, is it possible to run the program, and then eject the flash cart, and plug in the retail cart, and it read the save and edit it and save it back? would that be difficult to code, or impossible to implement? not that i want it, i'm just wondering! (since i can just dump by save via 3in1 tool and write it back.)

  4. here is the 0.03 changes taken from the readme, and what google translates them to (lol).

    - Want what juncture HG / SS was intended for.

    - You can change the coordinates of your present location.

    - When the name space to reflect the name埋Menai the 0x00 box.

    - たいせつなものを HG/SS 用のものにした.

    - 現在地座標を変更可能にした.

    - ボックス名反映時に名前領域に 0x00 を埋めないようにした.

  5. just saying that i tried to do it with my ems nds adapter, and it didn't work.

i backed the 'save up' before i even put the cart in my ds, and i recieved a 1024kb save, full of 0's. when i started the game and saved, and backed it up on my pc, this time, there was a chunk of lines of F's, then it went into 0's again, also 1024kb.

when i went to write the empty (before i started the game) save to the cart, it took the usual time the adapter takes, so i thought it worked, but i booted up the game afterwards and my save with my character was still on there. so i can't get saves to or from my cart!

i have also tried 3in1 backup tool, but so have other people.

    just informing, thanks.

  6. ok, apparently if you hack a gba pokemon, then pal park it, you get unknown gba type in the legality checker.

but i swear it said something were if i evolve it (an unhacked gba pokemon) it can sometimes go to unknown gba type? and unknown gba tpe doesn't mean it's a hack and nothing else? it could be legit?

so i could evolve my hacked pokemon, and people might think it's legit?

it is legal by the way, just not legit.

    thanks, ifyfg.

  7. you have an e-reader to test it on?

at least with actual gba games i can save/restore saves via my ds, so if the e-reader contains a .sav, i assume it would work.

and don't be silly about the lati@s not being legit since you didn't get to the island 100% legitimately, the pokemon still counts as morally legit. it's not hacked, even if you caught a mewtwo in some grass in fire red, once you pal park it doesn't know where you caught it.

it's like saying i you use walk through walls codes to get to some pokemon route you are not supposed to be yet, and catch a pokemon.

or if you are jewish and you catch a pokemon on sabbath.

(i hope i interpreted you right!)

  8. ok, i have two 'problems'.

so today i traded a japanese shroomish (ユカリ) (from japanese hayley) from some guy via wifi.

i was wondering if it was the exact same as the one on the events downloads, so i checked both of them, the one i received, and the one on the site, and they had the same PID, but different ivs.

does this mean some guy just changed the ivs from the .pkm on this site?

or does pokemon ranch give out the same PID each time, but different ivs.

    is that possible?

they are both jolly, and both class two males, the only difference i can see are the ivs.

also, legal.exe said both of them were hacked, but i am not sure if it can check ranch pokemon properly.

    thanks, ifyg.
