  1. @ therippeddeck and TheClaw I made a post a few pages back on what to do so that your changes are kept. The summary is that you have to create a new rom every time you use PPRE, then delete the temp folder. Like aninymouse, I haven't checked to see if they've fixed it since like version 10, but I know this works for me, and I never lose a thing. So take a look at what I posted; it's written as clear steps, so I hope it'll help you out. Let me know if you still have issues.
  2. Shanks so much! I had no idea... I was expecting them to be contained within the same data set. But if that's the case.... then I think I might just go ahead and do some really bad things.... muahahahaha......
  3. Is this the only way? Because I've noticed that there are several animation changes from DPP to HG/SS, and I want to keep those changes in HG/SS.... Not to mention that that program isn't working for me for some odd reason....
  4. To that, I would think it isn't... unless the data for the Game Corner is still in the files somewhere, it would be unlikely. Your best bet would be to use the JP version and translate that. In any case, I still look forward to the day that this program is able to edit the actual moves!
  5. This is for those who have struggled with PPRE,as I have.... Most of the editing is actually face value, where you just need to click the option you want to change, and then change it, whether it's a box-check, or a list opens up. Just modify it to your liking. As for saving... and this is particularly @ Oxnite..... Follow these steps, similar to what Oxnite posted: 1. Type the rom name, ex: (platinum.nds) in the empty field. 2. Click "Set Rom" 3. Make any changes you want to. Be sure to click any "Save -" buttons - Note - You have to click the save button after EACH Pokemon edit. 4. Type new rom name, ex: (platinumedit.nds) in second blank field \ 5. Click "Edit Rom" And now you have an edited rom! Now.... say you want to go back and make MORE changes.... Do you see that "tmp_" folder? DELETE IT. For some odd reason, once the tmp folder is created and PPRE has been closed once, the writing aspect of the program no longer works. But fear not! Simply use your new rom for any further editing, and all of your previous changes will be carried over! Hopefully, this saves many people from any more hours of frustration.... like me.... >_<
