Hey all - some good news! I've been on and off hunting the Sticker Kanto Egg starters since Jan 18th, but yesterday - I managed to find my first shiny! Thankfully it was one of my targets, too! I saw that, eariler in the thread, @Guested had mentioned the event distribution being able to give multiple wondercards per save file. When I decided to take up the hunt, I thought it would be more fun to instead give myself one egg per save file (this was how the korean rerelease of this event worked? unless im mistaken?), and that's pretty much how I went about hunting it. I ended up gathering 104 total eggs - 36 charmander, 34 each of bulbasaur and squirtle - and holding them to check on each concurrently created save file, and after 5,304 total eggs checked, I got a shiny Charmander! (1:50:25 into the stream) Shot in the dark here, but wanted to follow up from my previous post in Feb regardless. I know @ShinyScizor9597 also told me they were hunting the eggs, and wasn't sure if anyone else got a kick out of these old events! If self promo is an issue I can take it down. No worries lol Hope anyone else finding this thread knows how cool this event is. Glad these preserved events are still available! Ill be back when I find the other two? Or the trio haha -Seamus

Hello! ~I understand I'm coming around to this sub almost 13 years after the event occured, and not expecting any answers or responses, but wanted to air it out anyways: ~ I'm currently aiming to shiny hunt the 3 Sticker Kanto Egg starters (using the wondercard injection in pkhex, then checkpoint to play on original cartridge. I can explain more if need be), and was looking at getting a bit more history from this event! I was going to ask if anyone (@Guested??) would be willing and able to chat about the event, from the perspective of someone that received it in person! More specifically, how they went about receiving the event, what the processes of obtaining the stickers and eggs were like, basically just a recap. Long shot but wanted to try anyways! If you're seeing this after the fact, please still reach out! Always curious to learn more about things like this (thanks to whoever dumped the wondercards!!) edit - found out how to access the original pics from this thread, super neat stuff!!
