UPDATE: I did more and more research. So it seems like you need the National Dex for the Dual-Slot Encounters in Pokémon Platinum first, which I don't have. I thought you can catch them early since their level is so low. I'll make another edit if it works, when I am there. I love your approach and the idea, behind being able to switch it on the go with the calculator insertion, but I can't get it running. I am looking for a way to unlock the Dual-Slot encounters in Pokémon Platinum. I made sure that everything is alright. - You set "Action Replay" as tag, so I assume this code is not emulator specific, so I can use it on my hardware with an original cartridge - I picked the code for the language version of my game, in this case Germany I don't have an Action Replay, but I have NitroHax which does work 100%. I've tried this in other games. So what I do is: - I boot the game with this AR-code active. - Open Calculator - Type '04' into the calculator (I mean the '0' doesn't matter anyway, you can't really type '04') - I press Start + Select - I click on "=" in the Calculator. [I hear a sound of a Pokémon shouting(?), whenever I insert any of the numbers for an GBA slot] But nothing happens. I am on Route 202. "FireRed is selected" and I should encounter Growlithe (8% chance, any time) at some point. But it does not happen and I tied very often. I've tried to change the order of all these actions, but nothing really helps. What am I doing wrong and what can I try to fix this? I can't figure this out. More info: - The AR-Code is stored in an xml file in one line and space between the addresses, Usually the program reads that right, it works with other codes that have multiple lines. When I try to have the code in lines, which makes no sense in XML, It doesn't change anything. - I also use PKSM (to unlock events basically), but this shouldn't really affect anything right? - European Code doesn't work either
