i recently bought a japanese copy of pokemon platinum, and it got here today. but when i boot the game up, it gives me what"d i'd assume is a communication error of some sort. the cartridge itself seems legit, and i haven't heard of people bootlegging japanese games as much as they do the english ones. i didn't buy a cartridge-only listing, either. i bought with the box, with all the manuals and everything. it registers on my 3ds just fine, but when i boot it up it shows the nintendo logo and stuff before the screen flashes white for a split second, before cutting to the error screen. could someone please help me getting it to work? (im playing this on a New Nintendo 3DS XL) edit: nevermind, got it working! probably just a bit buggy since its an older copy.

just thought it'd be nice to make a nice little introduction post here! my names Lammy, but you could also refer to me as my username if you'd like. i have a variety of interest, ranging from things like rhythm games, to platformers, to obscure and well-known cartoons/anime alike. but, most importantly, Pokemon! i've been getting REALLY into Pokemon again recently, so i thought 'hey, why not just sign up for a Pokemon forum? i can interact with others in the community, it'd be nice to have!'
