For certain Pokemon you have to wait over 70 days to unlock them in Safari Zone. There seems to be a glitch to manipulate your game by changing the time. I tried the 23:58/0:01 method for around 30 times on the DSi and DSL but it did not seem to work. I even waited 24 hours in between consoles to let time events reset or something. Many people in the YouTube comment section, Reddit or the random places on the internet say it works for them but for just as many people it just doesn't work. Including me. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong or does anyone know a way to time skip.

Maybe I don't fully understand this but this option allows me to encounter a specific Pokemon right? Everything appears to be correct yet I can't find the Shiny Vulpix. It simply doesn't show up in game. Am I doing something wrong? I can't find much information anywhere about this.
