Is there a way to get the number of people in Forest/City up to 10 using Pkhex?

Currently on 6 people but don't really understand the editing tab on pkhex and no mention of people number.

Any help or advice is appreciated.

I vaguely recall someone having issues with getting a Scizor, and apparently it made a difference regarding whether they directly hacked it into their party (without placing into box) then attempted to trade, or hacked into the box first.

I got around it in the end. I just used encounter codes on Sapphire and transferred them over on PKhex.

Am I being stupid?

I'm trying to evolve Onix, Scyther, Slowpoke, Poliwhirl, Porygon, Kingdra and Clamperl between my Ruby and Sapphire.

I have all the correct items on them but once they have been traded, the item disappears as it should but no evolving.

Am I missing something here? Worked fine on Gen 1 and 2.

Maybe worth noting I'm using mGBA to trade between them as iv lost my link Cable.

So im trying to get Trade evolved pokemon (Steelix, Slowking, Kingdra, Gorebyss, Milotic) onto a new game of Fire Red.

If I could find encounter codes or get them on Pkhex it would make things easier.

My question is, if i change the event flags so that iv been inducted to the hall of fame, gave myself the ruby and sapphire and warp to one island and talk to celio. Will that give me the national dex? Also if I reset everything afterwards, will it no impact the story?

I'm right at the beginning of the game so can't really test if it will have an effect on the story myself.

I'm trying to change IVs of Mew to specific values and I know I need to create a new PID using RNG Reporter but I am having trouble. Tried a few times but still remains illegal.

Is anyone able to show me how to do it?

I am unsure which gen 3 method I should be selecting for a start.

What is a good, affordable flash cart that I can get in the UK?

Ez flash would be the go to but is a bit pricey. There seems to be a lot of fake looking ones that are cheaper.

I saw this one but don't know if it would be any good for what I want to use it for.

ok i got it sorted not long after posting this.

problem was i didnt have a c:/savegame_manager folder in my hardrive. so there was nowhere for the files to go. 

the gbatemp tutorial i was using mentioned nothing of this.

I have been trying to backup my Pokemon White save using savegame manager, but having problems. Hoping someone can help. 

I am using:

Savegame manager 0.2.4 

I have put the .nds and .ini files onto my SD card. Set the 'ftp_ip' to "192.168.43.172" (pc's local ip) Set username and password to "test" and tried setting the port to "21" and "8080"

Those ports are also allowed through the firewall (inbound and outbound rules) 

Smallftpd 1.0.3

Port set to "21" or "8080" (same as sgm) 'Use local IP' on. Login username and password set to "test" (same as sgm) Inactivity timeout set to 300. Directories physical path "c:\temp" and permissions "LRW"

When i load up SGM on my DS lite (or phat) and try to backup up the .sav file, it connect to the access point fine but wont connect to the ftp server (see pic) 

After leaving it for so long, it will then say "FTP: ERROR: FTP server missing" 

I am assuming the problem is the connection between the DS and Smallftpd but cannot figure out what i am doing wrong. 

Any suggestions? 

Is there a warp code to southern island for Ruby/Sapphire?

does anyone know if you can enable Southern Island more than twice? iv Caught both Lati and doesnt work anymore.

Ohhhhh so they are 2 different tools? Sorry i looked back at what you said like 5 times. But id also looked the main guide on it on here which kinda misled me as it didnt go into enough detail amd the load old/new kinda threw me.

So i just have to change to 32 and save?

I have to admit PKHex is absolutely awesome! Kudos to those who made it! 

The fact i can pretty much create my own pokemon is great. Although i dont know how to make them shiny and using the database seems limited as to shinies.

@theSLAYER Hi bud. i finally got around to trying to get this Spiritomb with PHKex but having a bit of trouble with step 3 (Load old/load new)

Im not sure what exactly i do or what order i do it.

No tutorials specifically on Event Flags/Constants on YT and the main tutorial thread for PHKex is not very clear.

edit: I didn't realize it was even simpler now. Just edit the event flags of your save with PKHeX:

Once edited, import the save into your game

Awesome! When i get home tomorrow i will try get my save extracted and give that a try. 

So can you use that same program to trigger other event pokemon?

Damn. I assumed that. Im working on a way to extract DS game saves. Iv not long started doing cheats on GBA games. Do you have a cheat for spiritomb by chance? 

I want to catch spiritomb but dont know anyone else who plays pokemon? 

Is there a way to get it without talking to 32 trainers underground?
