As I recall, the transfer chain for items is Gen 3 -> Gen 4 -> Gen 5, and then Poké Transporter removes all items, but I could be wrong. I'd have to look it up But you're right anyway, it would look quite cluttered.

Hi, I've got a question about that brilliant flowchart of which games can transfer to which - could you update it to show how items can be transferred? Also, I think Mew can be shiny - if it is e.g. a shiny JP Faraway Island Mew in Gen 3 and was transferred up through the chart to Sw/Sh? Unless Shiny Mew gets blocked for whatever reason Thanks
