What I need is a Shiny Legal pokemon (Passes the legility tests) but has the type of Hidden Power I want. The pokemon is sent to Pokemon pearl. Pokemon: Infernape Held Item: Life Orb Level: 100 Ability: Blaze Nickname : Assassin Original Trainer : Diamond Trainer Gender : Male Trainer ID : 07150 Secret ID : 02009 Pokemon Gender : Male Shiny: Yes Egg : No Nature: Naive Attacks: Close Combat, Flamethrower, Thunderpunch, Hidden Power (Ice, Power as high as possible) PP (max or normal): Max Pokérus Status: No Status Pokéball Captured In: Pokeball Battle Stats: What is this? IV Stats: High Stats on Attack, Special Attack, Speed, others are any EV Stats: 122 Atk, 130 Sp. Atk, 252 Speed Ribbons : None Location/Date Met: Lake Verity, 2010 July 16th Level Met At: 5 Happiness: 70 Contest Stats: None And.. this Pokemon: Gengar Held Item: Leftovers Level: 100 Ability: Levitate Nickname : Phantom Original Trainer : Diamond Trainer Gender : Male Trainer ID : 07150 Secret ID : 02009 Pokemon Gender (If specific): Male Shiny : Yes Egg : No Nature: Naive Attacks: Explosion, Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Hidden Power (Fighting, Power highest possible) PP : Max Pokérus Status: No Status Pokéball Captured In: Dusk Ball Battle Stats: What is this? Codr Posted July 17, 2010 Share Posted July 17, 2010 It's because Pokegen PKM files don't get sent to the GTS. But Pokesav files does. If you actually look at the save dialog, you'd see that there are multiple save types when saving a .pkm file. It can do what you want. Bassman Posted July 17, 2010 Share Posted July 17, 2010 This Infernape was created with Pokegen and loaded into Pokesave Pearl. I saved (and renamed) from there into another PKM file. It passed the legality check. See what you think. Could not get any decent stats for the other Pokemon in Pokegen as a legal shiny (takes IV's into account).
