Red Name?

So I was screwing around trying to make a level 1 egg hatched Pineco, filled everything I needed to in, saved, and it passed the legal check thing.

But on the main Pokesav page, the name Pineco next to Save/Load/Edit turned red. Does this mean anything?

I think that means you're missing something. Probably the PID, because I took out the PID's of my pokemon and their names turned red.

Nah, the PID is there. Everything checks out in the legality checker thing. But the name in Pokesav is show up a light redish color.

Does the red name = illegal even though the legality checker says it's ok?

It's the gender of the pokemon

Red = female

Blue = male

Green = genderless

If the colour changed after you altered its PID, you chose a PID that matches up to a different gender than what you started with.

Pokésav doesn't judge legality, only Legal does that.
