HG/SS Help: Cannot Trade in Union Room

Okay... So I was using some codes recently and I tried the All Phrases code, which worked like a charm. HOWEVER, now when I go into the Union Room and attempt to Chat or Communicate with anyone in the room, the game gives me the Blue Screen Of Death for my DS and stops working. Here's the code:

I'm having the SAME problem. The guy maintaining the database is aware of this problem. So it's not just you.. and me. I imagine there'll be a code to reset the phrases to their default. Until then, I suppose we'll have to wait.

I'm sure you could reset it with Pokesav, too. But, I'm using a retail card and the save file is impossible to dump right now, due to the weird IR cartridge. Sigh. I just want my Glaceon.

Somebody made a code to help fix our situation. I tried it out, and it DID reset the phrases back to the default, but.. I'm still getting the error. If you'd like to try it yourself, here it is. Let me know if you have any luck!

This code should make the all phrases back to default

default means that the actual phrases you have when by starting a new game

can someone confirm .. after using this code..

you can access union room without freezing

For the sake of anyone having a similar problem and finding a fix for it, I thought I'd make a little more noise. I'm about 200+ Pokemon into the game. All badges, beat Red. So, restarting doesn't sound too kosher for me. If anyone would like to load my game save and see the issue themselves, I'd be more than happy to upload it, I'm out of answers. I just know I'm not too happy with a Pokemon game with the inability to trade. :l

It took me a while to find this thread. I have the same problem on my HG retail cart/NitroHax, I'm also in to deep to restart, and the codes didn't work for me either... so bumpity-bump.

UPDATE: The delete/restore phrases codes did the trick on the second try! Trading as I type!

To recap, first I used only:

SEL+UP

94000130 FFBB0000

1000BA8C 0000FFFF

1000BA90 0000EF22

D2000000 00000000

This will wipe your phrase database. Then save, power-off, go back into NitroHax (or whatever AR-clone you use) and enable only:

SEL+UP

B2111880 00000000

0000BA8C 00000000

1000BA90 0000BE98

D2000000 00000000

Use this to restore your phrases, then save. If you're lucky, you should be back in bweezness.

hey i am just recently having the same problem and i bought my game off of eBay and it is the Japanese version but with an English write over how do i add the code into my game because i am playing on a ds and not on an emulator. it is bugging me because it use to work and i don't know why it doesn't now.
