Example: Groudon Eggs will not cause an error (any nature is fine). Excludes legendary Pokémon and other Pokémon that do not have eggs. (translated by Google) You should select a Pokemon from the encounter database, rather than create it from scratch. Also, trying to change the IVs/PID/Shininess could cause illegality, as the information is 'calculated based on a formula'. I believe you can set up specific stats you want in the encounter database.

Sorry for the late reply, I hope you understand I have a life outside of the forums, and don't stay here 24/7. For static encounters (such as legendaries) in Generation 3, there's only 6 PIDs that can yield perfect IVs. Those natures are locked, too. The 6 natures in the table above is Modest, Docile, Modest, Timid, Calm, and Modest. You likely just think that the nature needs to be Modest, because it has a 50% chance of showing up when trying to obtain a Gen 3 legendary with perfect IVs. This is what I was talking about in my initial reply: "trying to change the IVs/PID/Shininess could cause illegality, as the information is 'calculated based on a formula'" According to the formula, the PID of 685011A9, with all IVs at 31, can only have nature Modest. Correct me if I am wrong, however I believe you just changed your nature here (seen in picture below). That caused the Groudon's PID to change, and made the Groudon illegal. (and this is what the error 無効: エンカウントタイプと性格値が一致しません which in this case means: the IVs selected doesn't match what the formula would have generated.) For Generation 3, changing the nature there can cause legality errors. Keep in mind it is still possible to make the Groudon legal, but it will involve changing the IVs (I will show the fix further down). Explanation on "the formula" I mentioned above. Spoiler Example: Imagine the formula being Nature + IV = PID. If IV = 6, and Nature = 1, mathematically the PID equates to 7. However if the PID is 8 (or any other value), the program knows that something is wrong with one of those three values, and it will give you that error 無効: エンカウントタイプと性格値が一致しません。 (this isn't the formula but hopefully a simple example to help you.) Example of me trying to fix your Groudon with the new PID: Spoiler Use Pokefinder to get IVs from PID Amend IVs and PID, and now it is legal! Nature is not locked to Modest! Extra information: Quote Eggs will not cause an error (any nature is fine). (translated by Google) Eggs have a different formula from static encounters (such as Groudon), hence why Nature isn't an issue.
theSLAYER Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago So, if I understand your problem correctly, what you're experiencing is not an error with PKHeX, but rather a user error. I hope you'll see my earlier response in a better light; we get reports a lot, and a lot of them tend to be user errors (due to being uninformed or misinformed, however keep in mind we don't expect all users to be informed), hence why I suggested another way to do it. In any case, if you are not using Encounter Database filters/criteria settings, you then have 3 options: 1. If you want Adamant as a nature, you cannot have perfect IVs (I specially created a table below for you) Spoiler 2. If you want to keep perfect IVs, choose natures and PID according to the table below. Spoiler 3. Just use the illegal groudon; games usually will not punish you for owning a Pokémon with illegal PIDIVs.

That's good to hear. It's not limited to Generation 3; a number of games have the 'pseudo random generator sequence' deciphered. Generation 3, Generation 4, and Generation 8 is affected. If I'm not mistaken, Generation 9 does have a personality-determination protocol. However, if I recall correctly, it can be computationally intensive if implemented on the program to scan the whole box whenever a save is loaded, so it is not implemented at this time.
