Puck the Imp Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Donuts have their own inventory slot now, and essentially function as pseudo S/V sandwiches you consume on entering a wormhole space. Unfortunately, the DLC is rushed and these Donuts come with a lot of RNG that can't be easily worked around without a huge time investment. Is there any plan to allow the editing of the donut inventory through a dedicated GUI option in future updates?

Is it rushed though? I know others would disagree (they would said it's scummy to market DLC even before main game is out. and using that logic, the DLC was already ready) Yeah, the RNG is a pain tho. I get a controller to auto reset and makes donuts for me, and I also review the final product before deciding whether to get my controller to save scum or to save it. 17 minutes ago, Puck the Imp said: s there any plan to allow the editing of the donut inventory through a dedicated GUI option in future updates? I don't know about stable build, but it's already there in the current development build
Puck the Imp Posted 11 hours ago Author Posted 11 hours ago Exactly what I wanted to know! Thank you so much. From here people can engage with the DLC on their own terms, which I truly appreciate. Thank you. I won't go too heavily into why I feel the DLC was rushed, but I feel like there are a quite a few signifiers, specifically in the lack of variety and functionality of the RNG seed multi dimensions the game generates, which is arguably the bread and butter of what you have to engage with for it's "content". You can argue night and day about the quality of certain things like the side quests, cutscenes, re-used assets and such, but there are a few things that deffo feel like that were not meant to be shipped as such.
theSLAYER Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago To some extent that's all Pokémon games; it appears they tend to plan for all kinds of crazy ideas, but they run against the brick wall called skill and production deadlines. It's a sad reality that a lot of things in life get hampered by deadlines. To some extent it feels like an architect's vs engineer's argument over whether a project is possible, but I digress
