treezy Posted November 11 Posted November 11 hey yall, i've seen multiple player confirming that transferring saves from a modded switch to a clean switch and then to pokemon home is possible. i'm stuck however. here's what i did. * on modded switch, cfw emuMMC 1. backed up save data using jksv, then exported as SVI 2. booted into cfw sysMMC *on same modded switch, cfw sysMMC 1. created new save in JKSV using exported SVI, game now appears under JKSV user profile 2. booted into stock sysMMC *on same modded switch, stock sysMMC 1. confirmed that save data appears in system management settings 2. initiate save data transfer from modded switch to clean switch *on clean non-modded switch 1. transfer data seems to be successful, data appears in system management settings, save gone from modded switch's stock sysMMC 2. open pokemon home to start transfer, save file/game isn't being detected 3. restart console, still the same did this method get patched? any insight from others who successfully tried this would be helpful!
theSLAYER Posted November 11 Posted November 11 Why is modded Switch considered unclean? I use modded Switch to go HOME and use CFW all the time? It’s only a ban risk if you do anything ban worthy, and CFW itself ain’t it..

CFW itself isn’t piracy, and games played on consoles with CFW can go online. I’ve been using Pokemon HOME with CFW since launch. Still, keep in mind it’s all at your own risk.
