kubui Posted November 11 Posted November 11 (original post) hi! i was reading this post and i was curious about something the admin said "Directly? No. HOME is server based, and PKHeX is a save hacking tool. Indirectly: Place the mons in your Sword save, then place them in HOME." So that means that if i transfer my PKHEX pokemon (from a emulated file) into a legit game. I would be able to transfer it to home? In that case, that would be only possible if you have a pirated switch? which means that you wont be able to transfer them to home because you wont be able to connect to switch online because you will get banned. Soo.. how does this work?
Kaphotics Posted November 11 Posted November 11 You seem to misunderstand what a modified console is; just because it has Custom Firmware installed does not make it a "pirated switch". Nintendo Switch consoles that are exploited to run custom code can connect online without getting banned; people get banned because they pirate and install games rather than purchasing the cartridges/buying it on the eShop. If your console is banned, then you cannot connect at all to HOME. You need a legit console, a legit copy of the game, and custom firmware running on the legit console in order to modify your save data.
