take it out of the slot, clean the contacts, then put it back in.

Even if it doesn't show up, GBABF may still be able to access the read the slot. I've had something similar happen before.

update. done I managed to do it I renamed the .bak file to .bin and inserted it into the flesh card and then inserted it into the cartridge which is now working again, now I need to figure out how I can put the pokemon legality plugin I edit but otherwise everything is fine thank you very much

glad it worked.

This time make a proper dump with GBABF as per the tutorial. Could be a size thing, try doing 16Mbytes dump.

Questa volta fai un dump corretto con GBABF come da tutorial. Potrebbe essere un problema di dimensioni, prova a fare un dump da 16 MB.

thank you very much it's fine now the only problem is that I can't make the shiny legal with PKHeX as I can't get the autolegacy plugin to work

why wouldn't it be transferable to HOME? Hatched legal pokemon transfer to HOME just fine.

If you're up for reading:

You could always Search VIA IVs, then perform shinification afterwards.

hello i think this question is offtopic, but i would like to know if there is a tool i can put on my r4 to extract the saves of my pokemon cartridges (original this time) without having to modify my nintendo ds lite, i've seen one around and mentioned in this forum by someone, that is nds savegame manager but i can't get it to work and i don't want to modify my nintendo. I also have a 2ds but I don't want to modify that too if you could tell me if there is a method or do I have to go modding. Thanks again for your availability.

gba backup tool can dump retail ROMs and retail saves for Gen 3 (gba)

Bootleg carts operately weirdly hence why it isn't recommended
