Using a modified save on stock switch profile

Hello everyone,

 

I recently had my switch modded so I could shiny hunt one pokemon (yes, just a single one!) I had oaks letter on my first switch I owned but it was unfortunately stolen, so now I need to mod it in on my new switch. I was able to do that BUT the issue I’ve run into is that it only works on the modded switch profile. Is it possible to get it to work on the stock switch profile? I do not intend to use the modded profile after figuring this out lol.

I figured it out!

If your save has been online, don’t use it on different user profiles. It’ll be okay if it’s the same user profile.
