SaculSharpies Posted April 6 Posted April 6 (edited) Hi, just a while ago I was using the ACE method to RNG Manipulate onto the right frame for a perfect IV shiny in Emerald after hatching a DOTS egg. While I have been doing ACE method countlessly over the last few years, trying to hit a perfect IV Shiny for the first time had seemed to have gone rogue on me. I hatched the egg, hit the frame (sweet scent) and caught the desired pokemon (Shiny Aron), then went to the nearest pokemon centre (Dewford) where normally I then swap the code executed "?" pokemon into my first party slot and then release it immediately from the deposit PC menu. This time I accidentally opted to save before releasing the ACE code hatched pokemon and my GBA had frozen on the saving prompt on low power at that. With no real clue on what to do since turning off the console isn't recommended the GBA battery eventually ran out, I was sadly greeted with the 'corrupted/damaged save erased' message with the only option to start a new game upon rebooting... For additional context this is a legit Emerald cartridge that I have been playing since the day I walked into the shop and got it as a kid at release. Also replaced the battery a couple of years back to no issues. Any help is massively appreciated as I don't have the means to use PKHeX and this was the final pokemon I was aiming to get to complete my Emerald team after all these years, which has me devastated from the potential loss of all the hours put into ACE coding! Attached is the .sav file I extracted from the GBA cartridge onto an R4 microSD (GodMode9i). POKEMON EMER_BPEE01_00.savFetching info... Edited April 6 by SaculSharpies Clarity
