Input file is too large

hello!

i just downloaded PKHeX to evolve my Machoke, Kadabra and Magnezone in HeartGold but came across this problem after trying to input my save file into PKHeX. after looking through previous forums, I tried using the backup saveslots from the ROM but all of them come up with the same problem, even the ones from when I first started using the ROM.

does this mean that file is corrupt and won't be compatible with PKHeX?

Expand  

You are supposed to open save files that are created when you save ingame, as you would do on your console. Save states created through the emulator menu are not supported.
