Save Files not Updating when viewing on PC.

Hello, I made a Reddit thread on this topic before with no response so I thought I would post it here. 

TLDR: Progress made in Pokemon Emerald is not the same when viewed from the file itself compared to when booting it on my Miyoo Mini +. 

Any help with figuring out how to update my save files would be appreciated thank you. (I already tried using SyncThing to no avail, too difficult to sync devices,)

Save in-game and close the emulator to ensure it flushes your latest save data back to the file on the storage.
