REDRES Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Hello! I'm new here, so I hope my question isn't off topic even if related to PKHeX (at least the first one). This is my situation: I'm trying to send Pokémon edited by PKHeX to my official cartridge played on a non-hacked 3DS. Normally, I'd use the Wi-Fi trades with a ROM but when it comes to Landorus-T, things gets complicated. So, I searched for SendPkm to simulate it's obtention from the GTS, but it proven to be hard to find it. Plus, I don't know the detail of its working. From my comprehension, it allows to simulate a connection to the GTS that is in fact a local one by changing the DNS but the closure of the servers may alter it if it needed for some reason to connect to them. Here comes the question: Is there a program to send actual .pk5 files from PKHeX to a game with my actual setup, in a similar way as SendPkm? As the servers are down, could it use itself another DNS like the one of Poke Classic Network to check the connection if needed? Well, to this, I'll add another question, as it is mostly a problem about Landorus-T, so in other words, the Reveal Glass. From what I read on this forum, the event in the Abundant Shrine is triggered by connecting the BW2 games to the Dream Radar game. Of course, I don't have the radar. Is there any way to simulate the connection and reception of Landorus-T from the Radar on an official cartridge? Thank you in advance for your responses!
Kaphotics Posted February 17 Posted February 17 You host it yourself within your own network. Injecting PKM data via GTS does not do anything besides inject PKM data. It will not change your save file to facilitate in-game events. You're better off just hacking your console and editing your save file directly.
REDRES Posted February 17 Author Posted February 17 Activating the Glass event isn't a goal itself. I am trying to get the Landorus-T in game no matter if it needs the event or not. About the first question, is there, so, a PKHeX relative function or software to inject a .pk5 or .pkm by fakening the GTS reception? I posted the topic in the PKHeX section as I am not trying to edit the save files but asking about the software or its connections.
Kaphotics Posted February 17 Posted February 17 The sendpkm you referred to is just another fakegts, like ir-gts-bw and the like. PKHeX is a save editor; you can also get pkm files from other tools like PokeGen and PikaEdit; hence why your topic was moved out of the PKHeX forum. Try to use a fakegts like shiny2.5: https://github.com/Gannio/Shiny2-and-a-Half
REDRES Posted February 18 Author Posted February 18 Thank you, this Shiny2andahalf is exactly what I was searching for and it worked perfectly!
