CrabChips Posted February 1 Posted February 1 First I'd like to say thank you to everyone here and for all their hard work. I would like to ask someone far more knowledgeable than I to take a look at my save file that I pulled from my 3ds to see if there is any way to reverse my corrupted save. I don't recall turning my 3DS off at any point during saving, but alas, here my save is corrupt. I have my Ribbon Master, "Vathend" the Scizor that was just about to move over to ORAS after getting the last XY ribbons. </3 Please help me recover this if possible! Thank you, mainFetching info...
Kaphotics Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Here ya go -- looks like 31 bytes at the start of the save file were missing, and there was some junk data midway through the boxes when that was written at the end. (to any other readers, you can see how the save blocks blocks didn't align at their expected boundary, and that the pk6's sanity 00 00 values suddenly shifted) note: you need to export the save file from pkhex to fix the checksums of the attached file mainFetching info...
CrabChips Posted February 1 Author Posted February 1 Hello, thank you for your time and assistance. It's good to know that my save file is still intact! What a relief! I am trying to inject this back into my cartridge via Checkpoint. Once I restore the file that I downloaded from your post I am met with the same "The save data is corrupted" message. I have reattached the save file after getting the second error screen. Would it be worth trying to use this file with Citra and see if this is potentially a cartridge issue? mainFetching info...
Kaphotics Posted February 1 Posted February 1 You need to re-export it from PKHeX because the checksums weren't fixed. 1
