Platinum .sav file From cartridge doesnt load in PkHeX

Hello all! I am able to get my other saves to work just fine for Black and White, but this .sav file is specifically exported from the game cartridge using my R4i Dongle. It loads in Desmume just fine as well, but when attempting to load in PKHeX this is the error I receive. I've read other forum topics similar to this one, and I'm still not sure the root cause of the problem. Thank you in advance! YES I SAVED IN GAME, MULTIPLE TIMES haha I noticed that was something prevalent in other forums here >.<

Gen4/5 save files are 512KB, not 1MB.

Ok, so how do I fix this? Is there a way to resize it to work in PKHeX?

Use a hex editor or online tool to trim the file to the correct size.

Thanks! I’m fairly new to all this, is a hex editor separate from the PKHeX program I have?
