I've just recently found out that Mew can only be gotten through Mystery Gift events on those versions. I've found and downloaded a wonder card tool, however that only contains the WC3 files for the english versions.

Does anyone have an idea how I can properly trigger these events and get the respective pokemon with correct event flags?

Note: I've added the title into your quote for context.

Erm, I think you're gonna have to clarify on that. That doesn't seem remotely true.

AFAIK there are no Gen 3 Mew directly from Wonder Cards. In the mean time, while waiting for your response, I've listed 2 plausible scenarios.

Scenario A: Mew events receivable via FRLG
These are obtained via trade or direct injection into save, not wonder card. Also not limited to German copies of FRLG

Scenario B: Emerald event for Old Sea Map
The event does not directly distribute Mew, but instead gives an event ticket that when used in-game, can be used by the player to encounter Mew. Only legitimately distribute to Japanese Emerald. So no FRLG, no German.

There are not? I only know that back then, these event pokemon were distributed via downloads at Pokemon Day events. Didn't that involve downloading a wonder card via MG which then would trigger the event in the game that lets you obtain the pokemon? Similar to how you need a specific item in Emerald and onwards in order to reach the respective map locations where Mew, Darkrai and so on would be located.

I've considered simply adding the pokemon itself via .pk3 file too but if possible, I prefer the official way via triggering the event. It's how I got the event pokemon in the later versions too that involve the eon flute, old sea map and other event triggering items.

As far as I know they've all been injection (think Shiny Zigzagoon or Aura Mew) or traded (think MYSTRY Mew or Jeremy's Pokemon). There are wonder card events, however IIRC Mew isn't one of them.

There's no such programmed map location in FireRed LeafGreen for Mew. The only 'hidden' maps in FRLG are for Ho-Oh/Lugia and Deoxys.

Play the Japanese version of Emerald, and inject the gift for the Old Sea Map.
