Ash-Greninja not staying in the Active state

I've already asked this on an old post (mod edit: necro post hidden) but think this might work better.

While playing USUM, I want to use a permanently active Ash-Greninja but it doesn't work.

While in PKHeX it shows up completely normal,

when I export it and open the game it shows up as a normal Greninja with torrent.

If anything else needs to be known to remedy this, let me know.

The game reverts party forms when booting the game.

Store it in your boxes and retrieve it when you want to use it. Be sure to deposit it when you are done using it.
