Arash Posted November 24 Posted November 24 I dumped the file for my ekans imported from Gen V (through HOME, it has a home tracker and everything), but can't seem to save any edits I make in PKHex because it fails the legality check. As Ekans isn't a species that occurs in GenV naturally, it says invalid. But in theory these mons could have been imported from Gen IV and then a new pokemon bred from the old ones within Gen V. Am I doing something wrong?

However, since that Pokemon already touched HOME you should not change any immutable values. Doing so would invalidate the tracker and HOME will block it.

So the only legality error I get is “Unable to match an encounter from origin game”. It was hatched in Pokemon White (where ekans doesn’t spawn at all), Met Location: Route 3, met level and obedience level both 1, “as egg” box is checked, with egg conditions as Route 3 and same date as the met date above (4/2/2011, if that matters) from what I can tell it’s perfectly legal and went through home no problem, but how can I get PKhex recognize a pokemon that doesn’t spawn in its game of origin as legal (by means of importing its species from a prior gen and breeding it)?
