Binary not compatible question

Pokemon - Emerald Version (USA, Europe).savHello, 

 

I've spent some time on here trying to figure out why my sav file won't open in PkHex. This is a save file I've been using on my authentic cartridge of Emerald and have imported/edited on pkhex/exported/re-imported to my cartridge many times, but now is giving me the binary message. I use the GB operator from Epilogue to import/export saves. Has my file just somehow gotten corrupt over time? I've tried saving in-game on multiple devices (analogue pocket, game boy advance, game boy advance sp) and still no luck. If it is corrupted, is there anyway to save it? Thanks so much in advance.
