Just updated moemon star emerald and uploaded the save file but now the save is corrupted.

First time posting. I am using a physical cartridge to play on the pocket. Just updated the rom version and tried to put my save back in but it now says it corrupted. I have used pkhex and it does pull up my save. Even on an vba it says the save is corrupted. Any possible help would be Greatly appreciated!! Here is also a copy of the save file.

PKHeX does not support ROM hacks. Hacks modify the structure of the save data, and thus any checksum regions it may solve for are not the same as the modified game is expecting.

Restore a backup of your unmodified save data.

thank you!!! that is unfortunate for me because im pretty sure I overwrote it with the pkhex save! =( thank you for your help though!!!

did you know you just need mgba

you can use it with mgba its odd though you need to save in game 2 timesclose mgba then open the game file used to open the game and edit it then export the save and reopen mgba
