GLArts_64
Hi, I'm not entirely new to PKHex. I've used it for about a year now. I have a physical copy of Pokemon Red, and after beating the game, I realized I wasn't going to be able to get the version exclusives of Blue, so I wanted to use PKHex to fill in the PokeDex that I can't get in Red, along with starters, second fossil, and Mew. I got a cart dumper and dumped the .sav file to my USB stick and tried to open it. But I couldn't get it to open; all I get is this error message. I was wondering what I could do. I'm also attaching the save file to get a diagnostic. It's also giving the same message with my repro Gold cartridge. If it helps, I'm using the most recent version of PKHex, and from what I could tell the cartridge is authentic. Thank you in advance! GLArts_64
I just realized one reason it might be messing up, I'm gonna try releasing Missingno and tossing my items duplicated by it.
GLArts_64
Update: now it says it's uninitialized. I know enough that I know it's saying I haven't any PC save data or Party data (I think, idk if there's something different for Red). But I checked, the save still loads perfectly fine. Help would be great.
Kaphotics
Uninitialized (all zero) means exactly what it says -- the file size might be right, but there's literally no data in the file. It's not a valid save file / dump. Not an issue with PKHeX. Save File sizes are not 0x2000, they're at least 4x bigger than the file you're trying to load.
