Secret-Leirbag Posted October 28 Posted October 28 This is the most fun I've had in a while with PMD, thank you for making this one! One question, I have a level 39 Tyrunt and I can't evolve it. What's the evolution method? Do I need to wait till morning, or to level 40? An item maybe? Any help with this would be appreciated

I woke up in the base and can walk around there and immediately outside, but once I enter treasure town none of my inputs do anything. I also tried to do a special episode to see what would happen and after the Bidoof episode's intro cutscenes, I can't move or do anything. I've had no issues up until this point, and really enjoy the game. Is there a workaround for this bug? Currently hardlocked (save is bricked) since I can’t leave the sharpedo buff area without completely losing my inputs (I appreciate your dedication to this project btw!)
iRule37 Posted October 30 Posted October 30 (edited) can we have a link to the bluesky posts? also where in the discord do you talk about EoF? also is water shuriken in the game? Edited October 30 by iRule37
Rizuu Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Hello! Has this patch been updated to include Sobble as a starter/partner? Has it been updated at all?

Supposedly Nina Posted November 6 Posted November 6 (edited) PLEASE IGNORE THIS LOL I HAD A VERY OBVIOUS ISSUE Edited November 6 by Supposedly Nina
DefinitlyNotAI Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Two days ago, I found this project, and it looks awesome. As a starter, I randomly got a classic Zorua, but I decided to check out all the available starters and chose its Hisuian version instead. As a companion, I picked an Alolan Vulpix, and I have to say — it’s insanely OP. Starting with the move Powder Snow, it definitely deserves a serious nerf (or at least to have that ability moved to a later level; wiping out an entire room in just two attacks is way too much). It’s great to see so many new Pokémon in the game. Even though I’m only in Apple Woods for now, it’s still really nice to see such a wide variety of species. The boost to gummies is also a big plus — I’ve always thought farming that stuff was a pain. Once I play more and reach the post-game, I’ll share my further thoughts, but I’ll definitely be following the project’s development. Cheers!
bologna Posted November 9 Posted November 9 is there anyone that can send me the rom fully patched please, I cannot patch it
roxy_the_foxy Posted November 10 Posted November 10 HI! I've been enjoying the game so far. Is there any way to make Sky Editor's save editing software compatible with this game? I've been wanting to build my team all at once, but ATM I'm not sure how to inject the Gen 5+ into my save file.
FluffyDream Posted November 10 Posted November 10 hi I made an account cuz I love this romhack, I wanted to know if theres a guide of some sort for locations and evolution methods, whenever I play pokemon i strictly use fairy types, so I have a few questions, Why wont any cutiefly or rimbombee join my team? can I evolve my partner evee into a sylveon? how can I evolve hattena?

Found a solution for fixing this problem if anybody else is having the same issue; Just exit to top menu and enter and exit Pelipper Island, and then you’ll be able to load your file and move again. Rebirth Posted November 15 Posted November 15 I noticed Petilil was mentioned as a starter, but I'm not seeing it anywhere in the list available? Do I have the wrong version or smth? I swear I got the most recent one
biscuitygoodness Posted November 16 Posted November 16 (edited) Hiya!! First of all, I love this hack a lot. I've already clocked like 70 hours in it and am planning to play even more! I made an account just to post in this thread. Most of the bugs I've encountered have been reported already, but here's what I noticed anyway. Apologies for repetition. Spoiler Reported already: - Sorting items by "swap" crashes the game. - There is broken Archen dialogue, but I didn't see the specific instance being mentioned: It's the second to last piece of Archen dialogue in Treasure Town, the one right before the "final" version of Treasure Town in the postgame. Archen is next to the Kecleon Shop, but you cannot interact with them. - Glimmora is 670 in the Pokédex for some reason. Seemingly unreported bugs?: - I entered Sky Stairway and had the goal of getting the Sky Melodica despite having already gotten it and still having it in Kangaskhan Storage. When I got to the end of the dungeon, Rayquaza did not spawn (I had already recruited it) but the treasure box did. Further info just in case it's helpful: I had the top screen set to displaying jobs and I had a treasure memo active for Spacial Rift. (I thought the memo was referring to Sky Stairway.) - The treasure box at the end of Oblivion Forest gave me a placeholder error item when appraised. Specifically the plain seed with the ??? description. - When recruiting a Pokémon as a reward for a mission, regional forms become their "original" forms after recruiting. Second, more important thing: I made a spreadsheet for keeping track of your recruits with all currently available Pokémon in Explorers of Fortune! The spreadsheet is here. To use it (or just test it out), make a copy of it! You can do that in the File menu. Disclaimer: It's a bit jank. I'm only human, so there may be mistakes. The formatting isn't completely clean, with some Pokémon added in the second column. If you feel the need, you're free to edit the spreadsheet yourself as much as you'd like once you make your copy. Make it your own! It features some custom formatting: If you have only part of an evolution line, the checked off Pokémon will be purple. If you have every Pokémon in an evolution line, the whole line will turn pink! (It does not count shiny variants or forms and Pokémon listed in the second column and beyond.) If you want different colors, go into the Conditional Formatting menu (left click on the column, select View more cell actions, and then select Conditional formatting to view and edit what you'd like). As noted earlier in this thread, you can't recruit everything. There's a recruit limit of 552 in Explorers of Sky, also noted in the spreadsheet. (I'd be interested in a patch that allows more recruits, but I couldn't find anything. My guess as someone who's never made a mod before is that there are, like many other things in this game, structural restrictions that make it difficult or impossible to make said patch.) I hope this helps someone! Sorry for the long post. Edited November 17 by biscuitygoodness
ebeau8 Posted November 20 Posted November 20 Hey I'm doing another playthrough of this after a while. I chose phanpy as my starter, I was just wondering if its' moveset has been changed from the base game since it got no ground moves. Thank you!
Lucgod Posted November 22 Posted November 22 Hello, im enjoying a lot the game, also i have a question, i accidentally stole a item from a kecleon bar in a dungeon (post game) and i use a pure seed to escape and go to next level. Is there any consecuence for that if i escaped to the next level unharmed? like i can't buy from the store or kecleons will kill me in other dungeons?
RFPuddles Posted November 22 Posted November 22 Yo i've played thru your mod and wanted to restart with different pokemon from starters but when changing thru sky temple it doesnt work love the hack btw
SnailorMoon Posted November 24 Posted November 24 It'd be cool if you'd add spheal as a starter. Just cause it's cute and rolls.
Dynamo_Lynn Posted November 24 Posted November 24 I made an account just post on this thread. I recently felt like playing Explorers of the Sky again thanks to just a random couple YouTube recommendations but since I don't have DS anymore and it has been years and years since, I decided to install Drastic and this Romhack. I'm thankful. Your work on this has been stellar, I'm enjoying my playthrough a lot so far. I hesitated between this and Alpha and realised Alpha just overhauled the game way too much to my taste, and I was looking for something closer to vanilla with only simple additions and quality of life features. I can't believe how active the romhack community is for this game and I'm eagerly waiting for your next update. I think yours is the one headed in the best direction and I hope you'll continue working on it. I have a few of questions: - Do you plan on adding a feature to be able refresh the Job boards? - From my understanding, modifying this game is easy, but straight up modding it and adding more content seems limited ; for example I reckon you said in this thread there are limited attacking moves and Pokemon slots? Is that why you may not be able to add even more in the future? - You mentioned making the Gummi grind easier by doubling Gummi IQ gain values, but did you by any chance also increase the amount of Gummis found in dungeons? I really don't recall them being this much common.
ItsFelix Posted Monday at 04:47 AM Posted Monday at 04:47 AM Hello! i had a few questions, would it be ok to play this if it's my first time going through explorers of sky? are there any major story changes or anything that i would be better off avoiding? and also is there a way to play as regular sneasel/weavile? that's the main reason i wanted to try this rom hack
