awj1324 Posted August 26 Posted August 26 Hello, first time poster so I'm sorry if this has been asked before. In my Violet save on Pkhex, I have genned a bunch of a Pokemon with the SID # "1324" which is NOT what my original SID in game is. I was browsing through all the different things you can change, and in the "Trainer Info" tab, I noticed you can change your player's SID. This made me wonder if I should have genned all these Pokemon with this original SID or if I should change my players SID to "1324" ??? Or should I just leave it alone? Is this going to get me banned by having genned pokemon with a different SID than what it says here? Would I have to do this with all the games I plan on genning Pokemon into like Shield and PLA? Also in the Trainer Info tab, I see you can edit $$$ and LP which would be super useful. This won't crash the game will it? If I max these to 999,999? Thank you so much for any help with this. I have all my Violet, Shield, PLA saves in pkhex ready for restoring back onto the switch SD card and I just realized that this SID number may not line up and might be a problem for me, so I'd like to get some insight. One more bonus question, if I may.. has anyone had any issues with checking off "Caught All" in the pokedex editor?? I know in S/V you cannot import shiny legendaries from previous generations until youve caught a regular one in game.

Or should I just leave it alone? Having pokemon with identical TIDs but different SIDs is an incredibly suspicious "tell" of cheating. If they've ever touched online, then there is the potential that their data has been logged on their server, and if they bothered to action it, you could be banned. It's up to you on how much you want to risk. 1 hour ago, awj1324 said: Also in the Trainer Info tab, I see you can edit $$$ and LP which would be super useful. This won't crash the game will it? It works. 1 hour ago, awj1324 said: One more bonus question, if I may.. has anyone had any issues with checking off "Caught All" in the pokedex editor? The program doesn't set shiny seen/caught unless you force it with a specific modifier key (either shift or ctrl, I forget) when clicking the action.

They all have identical SIDs (1324). However, under the Trainer Info Editor, my SID is NOT 1324. Does this matter?
Kaphotics Posted August 26 Posted August 26 Again, whether or not GameFreak decides to scan and classify the contents of your save data as hacked is up to them, and can never be known for certain that they will never. Scarlet/Violet are almost 2 years old, and based on history, they do not take action on suspicious save file contents besides tournament checks.
