Help Potentially Restoring Crystal (GBC) Save

Recently did a bunch of ROM dumps of me and my wife's old GB-GBA collection and was poking around our old Pokemon saves. Was heartbroken to see my wife's Crystal save had become corrupted and wouldn't open in PKHeX. This was her childhood game and first game. Based on what I can see, this is a long-shot to restore, but I have no idea where to even start or how to even know if this is recoverable.

Any help or pointers is greatly appreciated, so thank you so much in advance!

Opened in a hex editor; the file looks to be random junk. Probably the battery died and the storage stopped retaining data.
