Corrupted Gen 1&2 GB Files - Salvageable?

I've recently been backing up old Game Boy save files. Red and Blue are fine, Crystal is too corrupted to play but can be read via PKHeX, but Yellow and Gold are too corrupted for either the cart or PKHeX to recognise. I appreciate it's unlikely, but before I give up - is there any chance of pulling anything from either of these files? Being able to view, copy, and extract the Pokemon data or restoring them to a playable state would be wonderful.
