backups not working properly

Hi, 
  Pkhex suddenly stopped creating backups and I'm not sure why because I didn't change any settings.
I deleted everything and started over. Now pkhex will create 1 backup but no more after that. I tried these versions: 24.03.26  and 24.03.10

If the file already exists (filename), that's the backup. If you don't play in-game, the program isn't going to save after every modification you do.
