yepmulti
Hello. It's quite well known that it's possible to change the color of your trainer in crystal, to either play as a red girl or a blue boy. But this glitch fixes itself at certain points, and redoing the glitch has other undesirable effects such as deleting your box data. I'm wondering if it would be possible to create a tool, or add the functionality to pkhex, to easily change the trainer palette at will. Attached is two save files. One for the boy and one for the girl, along with a copy of each where the only difference is the trainer palette. Hopefully this makes life easier for anyone who may be up for the task. Thanks in advance! NormalGirl.sav RedGirl.sav NormalBoy.sav BlueBoy.sav
BlackShark
It's now possible since PKHeX 24.03.10. The palette can then be changed in the block data editor. 0 - Red 1 - Blue 2 - Green 3 - Brown 4 - Orange 5 - Greyscale 6 - Full Green 7 - Full Brown
yepmulti
Thanks man! Sorry for the late response, the notification email went to my spam folder. :P I wasn't expecting there to be this many options available, though I guess it makes sense given other NPCs use the same colors. At any rate, I have a lot of cool options for customization on future playthroughs on Crystal thanks to you.
EGazo110
Hey BlackShark much appreciated for the info, is there away to stop it from reverting back to "Red" when a event/party faint occurs?
