For previously elapsed in-game events should be save; if you think about it from an unknowing person(well this would be the server)’s perspective, you basically came back to play the saved event after a long time. Similar to using properly legal event mons. Just don’t use/trade them to/against others, and don’t do anything ridiculous. All at your own risk.
